Welcome to the Decatur Obedience Training Club Website.

The Decatur Obedience Training Club (DOTC) is a non-profit organization and is licensed by the American Kennel Club. The DOTC was organized in 1950 to take an active interest in the welfare, popularity and understanding of dogs and dog owners in the community. The DOTC provides canine education to the community in the form of demonstrations and appearances at special functions.

Classes are held for members and the general public. Available classes include puppy classes, Obedience, Agility, Canine Good Citizen, and Rally. Our instructors are member volunteers with many years of experience in training dogs.

Our indoor training facility is heated and air conditioned and has over 3,600 square feet of padded surface for the comfort of you and your dog. There is also an outdoor grassed area with over 10,000 square feet that is fenced for the safety of your dog.

Trials are held each year for Obedience, Rally, and Agility. The Canine Good Citizen test is given several times a year.

The training facility for the Decatur Obedience Training Club is located at 130 East Warren Street, Warrensburg IL.
